Overview of Data Purity

This is Sargentum's Oath of Data Purity, assuring a commitment to data integrity and quality.


Each product, service, and research project is expected to adhere to these principles, fully or near-fully, to ensure the standard Sargentum stands for is maintained.

This is a living doctrine, and will be subject to change, though the main goal is to remain a cornerstone of our operations.

The Oath of Data Purity


  1. Data Remains Private. Data entrusted to SSR stays private. We process what is explicitly promised, then delete or return the data immediately or within the agreed-upon timeframe. We do not sell, share, or use data for any other purpose than what is explicitly agreed upon.
  2. Transparency in Every Process. We tell you upfront, in plain language, exactly what we will do with your data.
  3. Minimalism By Design. We collect and store only what is necessary. Less data means less risk, for all parties involved. We do not collect data for the sake of collecting data.
  4. Immediate Deletion. Data is deleted immediately or within the agreed-upon timeframe after completion of the requested service.
  5. No Compromises on Security. Tools and infrastructure are built to resist leaks, breaches, and coercion.
  6. Ethical Alignment. Work aligns with domestic improvement and human benefit. No work we perform is intended to exploit or harm.
  7. Accountability. We own mistakes. If something goes wrong, we will be transparent about it, and take immediate action to correct it.
  8. Open for Scrutiny. Core principles, and their implementations where appropriate, are auditable.
  9. User Control. Export, delete, or revoke access at any time. No friction.
  10. Purity in Practice. Every tool, service, and research project is expected to uphold these decrees.
